The Nigerian Senate on Thursday suspended plenary abruptly following discovery of smoke from faulty coolant system in Senate chamber.
Senator Abdulai Gobri representing Sokoto (APC), while raising a point of order, the lawmaker called the attention of the Senate to the condition of the atmosphere in the chamber lamenting that the chamber was not conducive for the lawmakers.
He, however, moved for the adjournment of the sittings.

Senator Gobiri also moved that the plenary be suspended till Tuesday 20 February when all faults leading to the smoke would have been fixed.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who on the motion adjourned the plenary till Tuesday next week.
